To wrap up their reading module on the Wild West, students learned about homesteading and made their own butter—just like pioneers did! 🚜🍶 Hands-on learning brought history to life, and the students had a blast tasting their hard work.

Mrs. Stone's 5th-grade class took on the Float Challenge to design a structure that keeps a balloon floating high without touching the ground. 🛠️💡 They tackled engineering concepts like weight distribution and strong structures—and the results are amazing! 👏

Third graders saw force and motion in action on their field trip to the Rock Springs Impact Center bowling lanes! The students used pushing forces to send their bowling balls down the lanes and watched as that motion sent bowling pins flying! They also saw how the oil-slicked lanes created less friction for the bowling balls. It was a wonderful time experiencing science in the real world!
