It’s almost time for state testing — be sure to save the dates! A few important reminders to help your child do their best:
🚫 No electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, etc.) are allowed during testing.
🛏️ Get plenty of rest the night before
🍳 Start the day with a nutritious breakfast
⏰ Arrive on time — testing begins at 8:30 AM sharp
📅 Try to avoid scheduling appointments or early checkouts on test days

Field Day Weather Update – Friday, April 25th
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow’s Field Day. While the forecast isn’t ideal, we are still planning to move forward with Field Day as scheduled on Friday, April 25th.
If the weather conditions change or it begins to rain, we will adjust plans as needed to ensure a safe and fun day for our students.
With the potential for damp or wet grass, we kindly ask that you consider sending an extra pair of shoes with your child. Please place them in a labeled bag or grocery bag so they can change if needed.

Today, Mrs. Hendricks and Mrs. Trotter stopped by Mrs. Corwin’s first-grade class for a fun and interactive game of Boom Boom, Clap! The students have been hard at work learning about vowels and all the important jobs they do in words. During the game, students had to listen carefully to a spoken word, then grab the correct vowel that matched. It was a lively and engaging way to practice their vowel skills—and everyone had a blast!
