Mr. Corwin, Duke Energy Operator, visited 1st grade students as they finished their unit on light. Students have been learning how light makes items visible, some translucent and others opaque. He had students work with a plasma ball tracking energy and students rotated a handheld generator to power the light!
We celebrated the 100th day of school today! It was a fun Friday!

We loved seeing student's smiling faces back at Hagood today! Mrs. Ray/Mrs. Wood's K5 class celebrated a special new year's countdown with a balloon drop!
ALL PRO DADS will meet this Friday, January 5th in Hagood's cafeteria from 7:00-7:45 am. Forest Acres Elementary School Principal, Andy Holliday, will be speaking and Landmark Baptist Church will be providing breakfast. We are looking forward to our first ALL PRO DAD meeting of the 2024 year! See you then!
